Martin County Currents is an independent voice providing intelligent, serious journalism in a high-quality format — in print and online — to more than 20,000 readers across Martin County, Florida.
Our mission is to celebrate life here and among our neighbors, and to promote our local businesses. To that end, we kept advertising costs as low as possible so business owners could maximize the value of every marketing dollar — because when local business thrives, the whole community thrives.
The paper was also an active proponent of “Hire Just One,” a grass-roots campaign encouraging businesses to take one person off the unemployment rolls and start a ripple effect through the local economy.
